Terms of service
The rules for using Aletura: quotas, your own API keys, saving and deleting โ and what Aletura does not do.
Scope
These terms govern the use of Aletura (aletura.eu) by guests and registered accounts. Operator: Paul Curcean, sole proprietorship, seat in Austria (see Imprint). Austrian law applies, excluding the UN sales law.
Service and legal status
Aletura analyzes contracts and compares two or three documents, delivering structured, source-linked information. Aletura is not legal advice: results are not a legal opinion, not an enforceability assessment and not a litigation forecast. For legal decisions, consult a lawyer.
Accounts and quotas
- Guests: one successful analysis operation per UTC day, counted per anonymous device token (hashed network address on the first request); a hashed-IP abuse guard per shared network also applies. Resets at 00:00 UTC.
- Individual accounts: three successful operations per day; BYOK use is unmetered but subject to the provider's technical limits.
- Up to five follow-up questions per completed result; they are answered only from the validated result.
- A comparison of two or three documents counts as one operation. Failed operations are not counted (refunded).
- Accounts are created via email verification (link valid 24 h); password-reset links are valid 30 minutes.
Your own API keys (BYOK)
- Keys are stored AES-256-GCM encrypted, never logged, and sent only to the allowlisted endpoint of the selected provider.
- Saving or deleting a key requires a fresh password entry (step-up).
- If no encryption configuration is active, only a session-only, non-persistent storage is possible.
- You can delete your key at any time; running analyses with an invalid key fail without falling back to the Aletura key.
Saving and deleting
- Contract content is not persisted by default. Analyses, indexes and masking mappings are ephemeral.
- Only with an explicit Save choice is a result stored (encrypted), and the original document only if the deployment provides for it.
- You can delete saved results at any time; deleting the account deletes all linked data.
Acceptable use
Upload only documents you are authorized to use. Aletura treats uploads as untrusted data: instructions embedded in documents are never executed and cannot trigger tools, URL retrieval or shell access.
Liability
Aletura does not warrant the substantive accuracy of individual analysis results; use them at your own responsibility. For damage caused by gross negligence and under the mandatory provisions of Austrian law (in particular warranty), the operator is liable as provided by law.
Changes
These terms may be updated; the version published on this page applies. Privacy information: Privacy policy.
